Good evening everyone-On January 1 of 2014 will be 6 yrs since I joined AR. I actually learned about AR a few months before that and started exploring it, trying to find out what it was all about. After 6 yrs., 5.9 yrs of them officially, I can honestly say it has completely changed my life. It opened up this huge window into a exciting, fascinating and incredible world that I would have never dreamed possible. I have learned so much, met virtually many wonderful people and talked to some on the phone which was cool. I hope to meet many of them when I am free to travel.
This place is like none I have seen anywhere. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here. I have laughed, cried, sent prayers to folks, been encouraged by fellow members and friends, sent virtual hugs, congrats to friends and flowers on featured posts. The education on this social media platform is unparalleled and is #1 in my book. The sharing, caring and love is simply amazing and wonderful. The staff is top notch and really genuinely care about the members. You can build a better business by blogging, you can feel secure in referring someone to a different area of the country or Canada thru learning and reading the blogs of many consummate professionals and know they will be taken care of the same way you would.
The absolute BEST thing about Active Rain is the Heart of the PEOPLE who make up this place called Active Rain. I know I am a much more knowledgeable person because of all of YOU. You all have given me lots of smiles and warm fuzzies over the years and for that I thank each and everyone of you I have connected with. My life is richer because of YOU.
As I finish this post it will put me over the 500.000 mark. I thought the number it showed before I wrote this was a pretty cool number. Fitting for such a cool place to be a part of for 6 yrs. While the journey to 500,000 has been reached much quicker by some I wasn't running a race. I was learning and building friendships ONE DAY AT A TIME and that in my book is PRICELESS.
