Blogging made easy....well, sorta. I just finished an 8 week course called "No Blogger Left Behind", presented by: Joeann Fossland & Frances Flynn Thorsen. I can NOT brag enough in regards to this course, it was very informative with monies well spent (in my opinion). Technology is essential in the real estate profession, with always something new popping up to learn. Blogging can boost your business up a notch or two, at least that is what it has done for me! Thanks Fran & Joeann!!

Please check it out: http://NoBloggerLeftBehind.com   another class is getting ready to take off! Many here on active rain have started a blog, then stopped, after finishing up the profile page, not knowing what to do next. At least, that is what I am seeing for those joining up on Active Rain from around my area. I was one of them a couple months ago, now I have the confidence to blog away. Am I perfect? NO, just a little more educated - and still learning daily.

Yes, I heard about that course, but with all of the information available here on AR, I don't think I need it.  Your should post a highlight piece on the information learned...

Anona, Take a peek at the link Joeann Fossland provided. To give you one highlighted piece of information that impressed me was: Monetizing your blog as a revenue, with sources of income. (but check state rules and regulations governing real estate advertising on what you can and can not do). An example of an Income Producing Blog is:  Curbed.com  or see  Grow-A-Brain.com . I am working on ideas right now & purchased 2 domain names that I plan on building to incorporate some of these strategies, plus adding partners to help offset cost & attract more traffic. Is anyone else out here doing this?

Joeann, I failed to mention that it was yours and Fran's encouragement to "get on the web with a blog today", just get started right away, soon as possible. Your blog doesn't have to be perfect, it can always be revised, tweeked & peeked at any time. You learn by doing. Don't get hung up on "what if I should do this, what if I should do that" - which ends up in NEVER getting started, with good intentions getting buried, lost & forgotten. I hope others appreciate what I have to say through my activerain blog. I want to provide valuable content and information, plus encourage interaction...even a debate! Communication is such a valuable tool, don't you agree? -- just some of my thougts. --Carla
