If you have been thinking about adopting a rescue pet, here is your opportunity!
Friendswood Animal Advocates is presenting a Pet and Shopping Expo, September 7, from noon-5 p.m. at Jones Hangar, 901 Buckingham Drive in Friendswood.
Rescue groups that are participating are Friendswood Animal Control, Happily Ever After Dog Rescue, Homeless Pet Placement League, Tails in Transition, and The Forgotten Pet Advocates.
This is also your chance to have your pets microchipped and vaccinated at a discounted price. Microchipping is just $25, and vaccines are $10-15, cash only, from 12:30-4:30 p.m.
There will be BBQ and drinks available from the Ring of Fire Cookers, as well as shopping opportunities with several local vendors.
Vendors participating include Art Dwellers, DeSu Jewelry, Floppy Pets, Jason Vasconi, Transform my Dog, Pawsitively Pots, Primp My Pets, and Sentsy Consultant Rose Garza.
Come on out to Jones Hangar Saturday, September 7, for a BBQ plate, some shopping, some dog and cat fun, and help support Friendswood Animal Advocates!
