Rhode Island enjoys a moderate climate with four distinct and colorful seasons. Rainfall is evenly distributed throughout the year, and the greatest snowfall usually occurs in February. The average January temperature is 30 degrees F, with an average July temperature of 72 degrees F. Annual precipitation averages 44 inches.
