Investing Three Bucks and Change... Any Takers?

I am not making it up, it is an actual email I received. I simply copied it and placed here. I am fascinated by a combination strong desire to steal combined with total inability to think. Failing even to read and comprehend what you are sending. No, the crook simply got the text from someone else, and now is sending it to the world.

Dear 18ys of age,i have total amount of$3,2USD wth my late father Bank which i inherited from my father business, but due to some security problem facing my life i wish to seek your help in relocating the fund to your country for investment,i will more

What if they still can find even bigger morons than themselves?

It is funny if you do not get caught with those scams. Can be considered humor. It is absolutely not funny, when greed takes over common sense in more sophisticated and elaborate scams.  I remember watching our local TV station telling about a gentleman in Ormond Beach, who lost about $400,000 in the Nigerian scam.

So, dear 18ys of age. Keep your 3 bucks with change in your father's bank and live happily thereafter on the interest earned.

Hi Jon, it always amazes me when I get those type of emails. And I wonder how anyone can fall for them. There are those that have too much time on their hands...

Andrea- I am amazed myself. But I tend to believe that if there is an avalanche of "offers", there should be victims. Profit margin is a different story :)

Jon, these are the biggest scams you will see and a lot of them hang out on craigslist.

Brian - they even get into ActiveRain. I got one 2 days ago, and reported them to AR. They open the account to send the emails, so when AR gets the notice, they remove their accounts. The only way to keep roaches away. :)

I just don't understand how this can benefit someone....to think that someone (as you say "bigger moron") would fall for this is beyond me!

I know, but it is what they missed. Made it funny, because this is the real value of the "investment".
