Payday Condominiums In Park City

The Payday Condominiums are located between the Park City Municipal Golf Course and Three Kings Drive, just opposite the new Silver Star development on the other side of Three Kings Drive.

These condos were not designed as ski-in/ski-out condominiums but the ski access has improved with the completion of the Silver Star base area and Silver Star lift.  Adventurous owners can now walk to the Silver Star lift and for those who want to catch the free city bus to the main resort area 5 minutes away, that is always an option as well.

Like the Three Kings townhomes right next door, the Payday condos are situated among large swaths of grassy open space and feel like they are set off a bit on their own as opposed to many of the condos in town that can be bunched together a bit.

These condos were among the first in Park City, built in the early 1970's when there was just one ski area in town and barely ten years old at the time.

Floor plans range from two to four bedroom models with square footage of around 1350 to just over 2200 square feet.

As mentioned, these condos are on the free bus route, so though you are seemingly in a bit of an out of the way and serene location, you can hop on the bus and get anywhere in town in a matter of minutes.  Payday condos are just a few minute drive from Park City Mountain Resort and 5-10 minutes from just about anywhere else in town.

For full time residents, Payday condos are in the Park City School System with younger children attending McPolin Elementary School right in town.

There are currently just two Payday condos on the market.  They are a 3 bedroom/3 bath 1,700 square foot unit priced at $530,000 and a 4 bedroom/3 bath 1,700 square foot condo offered at $640,000.

One condo is currently pending with two others having sold within the last 12 months at an average price per square foot of $359.

Scott - Like Peter, you had me at Payday!  It sounds like this development is in demand, being on the bus route and the improved access to skiing.  Thanks!

Hmm - I am interested to learn where the name came from! If my payday was enough to cover the price of one of these in cash ... well, I would be a happy camper! Thanks for sharing and hope you had a nice holiday!

Hi Scott -- as others have commented, the Payday condominiums in Park City is definitely an intriguing name.  The sizes of the units are impressive and obviously the location quite desirable.

Here's hoping buyers and sellers make the right move and contact you for the absolute best real estate representation in Park City.

Peter-we can all use a nice payday can't we?

A.J.-Especially considering the age of the development there never seems to be much availability here.

Kevin-you are right, there are only two units available right now and the market for ski condos is finally picking up.

Erin-it was an old mining name.  Whether it referred to the miner's payday or there was a Payday Mine I am not sure, but there is also a Payday run at Park City Mountain Resort.

Michael-they are great units and a really nice location.  There is simply not enough land in Park City to build much of anything anymore in town much less something with this kind of open space around and right on the golf course.

Scott, Even though this is an older condo complex, it looks well cared for and the grounds are really lovely.

John-I always appreciate the visit and it is a great location there right on the golf course.

Debbie-It has held it's value very well and I think the beautiful surroundings are a big reason why.

Scott, Interesting name for the condo's but being so close to the lifts and other attractions the name fits the lifestyle. The community  offers many amenities including great schools.
