No one will ever get out of this world alive.  Resolve therefore to maintain a reasonable sense of VALUES.

Take care of yourself.  Good health is everyone's major source of WEALTH.   Wit hout it, HAPPINESS is almost impossible!

Resolve to be Cheerful & Helpful People will repay you in kind.

Avoid angry,  abrasive persons.                                                                                                                  They are generally vengeful.                                                                                                                                                               Avoid Zealots.  They are generally Humorless!!

Resolve to listen more & to talk less.

No one ever learns anything by talking.

Be chary of giving advise.  Wise men don't need it & Fools won't heed it!

Resolve to be tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving & tolerant of the weak & the wrong.  Sometime in life you will have been all of these.

DO NOT equate money with success.  There are many successful moneymakers who are miserable failures as human beings.

WHAT COUNTS MOST ABOUT SUCCESS IS HOW A PERSON ACHIEVES IT

Its your life. Your kids are watching, You got the best of what your parents, family, community, teachers all had to offer from gains and mistakes and everything in between.  if you want help, enrichment, search, read, pray, ask for it.  If you are comfortable..you are not hungry, seeking, or done in your education and growth. Just got down jury duty for three days.  Back to work tomorrow but what an experience. Good post!

Nineteen years of excellence!
I certainly realize this the older I get! Age really does bring wisdom. Health is the top of the success pyramid.

Deb: Great thought provoking post.

Does health beget happiness or does happiness beget health?

Ghandi said, "We MUST be the change we want to see in this world" If we avoid those in need, who will help them? We must have the courage to set aside our fragile selves to serve the greater good without chance of reward. If we constantly seek comfort and sequester ourselves towards that end, what might be the result?

Will maxims serve me best, or an innate sense of purpose to do what's right? Just thinkin'!
