To those looking to find their way to excellence, Ninja is not only a set of skills but a service philosophy. I discovered Ninja by accident about two years ago and have been a student since that time. I recently completed Ninja II and was delighted to see over 100 people embrace the program in Detroit. We hope to get the instructor Walt Frey to come and coach our Max Broock and Real Estate One new Ninja agents. It's a wonderful thing to be able to relate to my co-workers and clients in a way that makes them understand how much I care about our relationship and the job I do for them. After nearly 30 years as a Realtor I finally feel like I'm home. Read an interview with Walt at Realty Times.
Chris: I like what they said in the Realty Times about Walt Frey, but still didn't understand where the Ninja came from. Help?

Joan,
Well it's kind of a long story. The 'original' Ninja who inspired the movement was a very active agent at The Group out in Colorado where this all started. Nobody hardly ever saw this agent, he just stopped in at the office and dropped off listings or sales but other than that they never saw him. He got the handle 'Ninja' agent because of the stealth at which he was doing business. The Ninja stuck and now we all aspire to be in the 'flow' with our clients out of the office and not sitting around waiting for things to happen. Hope that answers your question!
I just got back from Colorado at Larry kendalls the Group- we had a Ninja nation retreat- 230 agents- it was awesome- The origional NINJA was there- ride123.com Jimmy Dunlap and of course our one and only Zan Monroe- OH YES I WILL !!! We had a blast- they are doing it again in July 08- register early as it sells out for the 4 day conference in VAIL-

Don,
You lucky dog you. I have the tapes but have never had the pleasure of meeting Larry. Maybe this year! We have a Ninja group in our office now and I think it will be a great help to the agents who are part of the group. We have had some help from other Ninja office groups around the country. Let me know how it's working for you!
Chris
Chris,
Hello fellow Ninja's! I am a 4 year Ninja veteran, and it only continues to get better! I just returned from the Ninja Retreat in Ft. Collins, in February. It was WONDERFUL!!! Larry Kendall was great, as usual! If any of you ever have the opportunity to attend one of these events, it is a true must do! I am focused, and ready to have a great 2008!
