Overall, the market in August of 2013 was great. 56 days on market and sales price being 97% of list price are both great things for sellers in the area.

The Fort Wayne real estate market showed a little bit of a slow down over August. With interest rates up a little bit (even though they aren't THAT high), summer vacations ending, and kids getting back to school it's no surprise that things are slower. This pretty much happens every year.
In the last few days we have already seen an increase in showings, and buyers are starting to come out of the woodwork again. Those are all good signs for a strong end to the year.
