Bakehouse Restaurant and Bar Austin TX
I recently had lunch with a past client, and she said let’s go to the Bakehouse. I had never been there before, so I am always excited to try a new place. I was amazed at the menu! They had Italian, Mexican, Chinese, French, Japanese, Morrocan, Indian, Swiss, Cajun and even Texan!
I ordered a turkey bacon sandwich with potato salad as my side. It was the best turkey sandwich I have had in my life! And the potato salad was also some of the best I have ever had also. Of course, I always check out what everyone else has ordered, and would have been happy getting anything I seen. I might have to pass on the 3lb hamburger called The Billy "Porkchop"Chedsey Burger…I know my limits!
Check out their menu . This isn’t the prettiest restaurant I have been in, definitely a Keep Austin Weird vibe… but it was clean, and the waitress was so excellent and knowledgable about every item on the menu. They have been around since 1983 and I can’t wait to go back!
It is located at 5404 Manchaca Road, Austin, Texas 78745. They are open every day except Christmas from 7am till midnight. I highly recommend this place for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
