Ask An Ambassador, Should You Subscribe to Your Own Blog?
I say yes. With the recent profile and behind the scenes tech changes the subscription to myself disappeared. I realized after a couple of days how important it is for me to see my face up on my Subscription Blog Roll. So I immediately went back and added myself back by clicking on the Follow Button. Here is why.
I can see when I last posted with an easy reference when I check on my Following page. I can see how others in my Subscriber List are posting in relationship to me. It is way to be sure my posts are actually being published and not remaining in draft by accident (I have done this on several occasions). I use it as a gauge to motivate myself when it is time to post again.
Are you Following yourself? All you have to do is click on one of your posts and hit the Follow button on the right side of the page under your photo. It will change to Unfollow and you are Subscribing to yourself. Then your pretty face will come up with all your other Subscribers in the order the posts are published. And guess what, it doesn't cost a thing.
