There will be Lockbox Exchange Make Up Sessions on September 9th - September 13th between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. The exchange events will be located at the main Supra office in Sandy Springs, as well as the Northeast and Northwest Centers.
IMPORTANT TO NOTE: Only registered FMLS lockboxes will be exchanged at our three FMLS locations: 5457 Roswell Road, Sandy Springs; 2250 Satellite Blvd; 166 Barrett Parkway. If your boxes are registered with GAMLS, you must go to the GAMLS makeup.
A Special thanks to all of our members who participated in the Lockbox Exchange events! Supra has reported over 102,000 boxes have been switched so far.
Lockbox Exchange Make Up FAQs:
Q: Can I exchange my GAMLS lockboxes at the make up sessions?
A: No. Only registered FMLS lockboxes will be exchanged at our three FMLS Locations. If your boxes are registered with GAMLS, you must go to the GAMLS makeup.
Q: What are the new boxes?
A: BTLE iBoxes. Unlike the current Bluetooth Boxes, the new BTLE iBox is equipped with both Bluetooth® and infrared technologies. Most smartphones will work directly with the iBox BTLE using Bluetooth and will not require any additional hardware, such as Fobs or adaptors.
Q: Can my assistant attend the Lockbox Exchange Make Up Sessions on my behalf and swap out my old lockboxes for new ones?
A: Yes as long as you are an active agent with an FMLS username and password. The assistant must bring a signed Supra KeyBox Authorization Form giving your permission for them to do so. See
Q: My office owns the lockboxes. How do we swap them out?
A: The broker should designate a representative, fill out the Supra KeyBox Authorization Form giving them permission to exchange the old lockboxes for the new ones.
Q: I have a lot of boxes and I can't bring them all at one time. What should I do?
A: You can make multiple trips on any of the make up sessions days during the posted hours if needed.
Q: I also do business with the Northeast Georgia Board and West Metro. Will I need a FOB?
A: Yes, a fob will still be required to open boxes from these boards.
Q: Which devices work with the new BTLE iBoxes?
A: All Androids with OS 2.1 or later with a cellular data plan will work with no FOB.
The iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPad 4, and the iPad Mini with a cellular data plan will work with no FOB.
The Blackberry 8800 series, Bold touch, Curve, Pearl, Flip, Storm, Torch and Tour with a cellular data plan will work with no FOB. Call Supra Support at 1-877-699-6787 for the full list of all compatible devices and more information. (Please note: The iPhone, iPhone 3, iPhone 3S, iPhone 4, iPad, iPad 2 and iPad 3 with a cellular data plan will work but WILL require a FOB.)
Q: It looks like my device will still require a FOB. Will they be available for purchase at the Lockbox Exchange Make Up Sessions?
A: Yes. FOBs are $54.95 + tax.
Q: I still have an Active Key. Can I switch to an eKey at the Lockbox Exchange Make Up Sessions?
A: Yes, you can!
Q: Will I still be able to use my Active Key with the new BTLE iBoxes?
A: Yes! Your Active Key will still work or you can change to an eKey. Both will work.
Q: I think I already have iBoxes. Do I even need to participate in the Lockbox Exchange Make Up Sessions?
A: All current FMLS iBoxes need to be swapped out for the new Supra iBox BTLEs. In order to get them swapped one for one, at no charge, you must attend one of the make up sessions. Note: Only registered FMLS lockboxes will be exchanged at our three FMLS Locations. If your boxes are registered with GAMLS, you must go to the GAMLS makeup.
Q: Why can’t I leave the old boxes on my listings?
A: First of all, why wouldn’t you take advantage of a free upgrade to a new iBox? Secondly, after the swaps occur, some agents may not be able to show your property because they no longer have FOBs. Also, please note that if you don’t take advantage of the free upgrade events, you will have to purchase new iBoxes as the free swap offer will no longer be offered.
