FSBO: For Sale By Owner
Are you considering selling your own home? Recently, I saw a sign go up in front of a home. It read “For Sale By Owner, no brokers or agents”. After about 2 weeks, it was gone. I thought to myself, “Hmm that house sold fast”. The next day, a new sign appeared on the front lawn from a big agency now representing the seller.
Obviously, the seller wanted to save themselves money by selling their own home but things didn’t quite work out. Why could this have been? Before you decide to sell your home, as for sale by owner, consider these points:
