This weeks Market Report for San Clemente and surrounding areas from San Clemente Realtor Mark Paulson shows that Orange County Median Prices for the resale homes were up 21.8 percent, for new homes up 18.8 percent and for resale condos up 23.7 percent. The sales volume is up for resale homes 1.6 percent and up 10.6 percent on condos and up 155.8 percent for new homes.
- Mission Viejo Zip Code 92691 sales prices are up 23.4 percent and the sales volume is down 2.7 percent.
- Mission Viejo Zip Code 92692 sales prices are up 25.3 percent and the sales volume is up 10.8 percent.
- Aliso Viejo sales prices are up 29.0 percent and the sales volume is up 6.1 percent.
- Laguna Niguel sales prices are up 25.5 percent and the sales volume is down 21.0 percent.
- Rancho Santa Margarita sales prices are up 15.6 percent and the sales volume is up 4.7 percent.
- San Clemente Zip Code 92672 sales prices are up 48.9 percent and the sales volume is up 16.7 percent.
- San Clemente Zip Code 92673 sales prices are up 9.3 percent and the sales volume is up 29.3 percent.
Look at the positive numbers for the San Clemente area. Other areas are dropping in sales volume and San Clemente is still attracting the buyers. Please note Mission Viejo has move down some over the past week. Not sure if the excessive heat had a major effect on the market. We will have to see if there are changes in the next couple of weeks. The school children are back to school and the markets do traditionally change at this time.
