Pine Lakes  Land for Sale (Most lots have been sold and built on)

This blog post discusses Pine Lake, a high, cool mountain community at about 6000 feet located in the Hualapai Foothills southest of Kingman.  This community is primarily cabins used for summer retreats.  Current Best Buys in Pine Lake.

Pine Lake -- The Basics
The cabins here are all site-built, single family dwellings.  Lot sizes vary from fairly small to over an acre and can not be split. The terrain is steep and mountainous.  Residents frequently spot bear, elk, mule deer, mountain lion, and javalina.  Most properties have wells here!   These parcels afford privacy, miles of hiking, ATV and horse trails (though horses and poultry are not allowed), a mild year-round climate and incredible views.  Pine Lake is nearby as is the Pine Lake Lodge, for that Sunday morning buffet. Why People Like to Live in Pine Lake

  • Homes here are great places to have cool vacation retreats at much less expensive prices than Prescott or to live close to nature all year round.
  • The climate is mild, much cooler than both the Phoenix valley and Kingman below and warmer than the snowy Flagstaff area to the east.
  • Views are incredible and wildlife is abundant.
  • Pine Lake residents live the mountain life, enjoy the fresh air and take advantage of the hiking, horse and ATV trails.

House on East CrumbPricing at Pine Lake

Activity slows down at Pine Lake in the winter, though the winters there, even at 6000 feet are much milder than much of the country.  Over the last year 3 homes have sold from 135 to 199K averaging 200 days on the market.  rices are slowly rising after the real estate crisis.

What's Going on Nearby?

The City of Kingman is very close, handy for medical care, entertainment and shopping.  The area is a great take off point for a multitude of attractions, including the Grand Canyon, the Grand Canyon Caverns, Lake Mead, the hourly street shootouts of the Ghost Town of Oatman, and eclectic stops along historic Route 66 like Hackberry and Seligman.

Elise, the Pine Lake area is absolutely beautiful and you have presented it very well. This is what prospective buyers want to know about when they are considering an area.
