By
Real Estate Agent with Southern Classic Realtors Atlanta Area Realtor

According to Gasbuddy.com, gas prices are at an all-time high (March 11, 2008)

Gasoline prices reached an all-time, inflation-adjusted high yesterday, averaging $3.23 per gallon nationwide.

According to GasBuddy.com, this represents a 25% increase in the last 12 months.

When buying a home, it's more than just the home that you are buying; you're also buying the commute.  Therefore, consider a new home's proximity to your work and to your play as you plan the family budget.

Gas prices typically rise through the spring and summer months, and fall through autumn.

The cost of gas takes so much money out of the economy.  As the fuel price increases, all businesses are hurt by it because it costs more to get the goods and services to the stores and restaurants so their prices go up.  Also, people are going to have to start making choices of what they are going to spend their discretionary income on.
