It is no secret that Lake Charles, LA and Southwest Louisiana is booming! We are beginning to see the beginning of more economic expansion with industries adding projects. It was just announced that another project is headed to Westlake, LA. Juniper GTL , a Texas-based petrochemical company said it plans to build a natural gas-to-liquids facility in Westlake that would bring more than 140 jobs to the area
Take a look at these industrial projections for growth and expansion!
More development means more Lake Charles jobs and with that comes growth for our Lake Charles LA housing industry!
Builders and developers across Southwest Louisiana have been busy looking for land to build on. There are more "proposed subdivison zoning" signs all over Lake Charles more than I have ever seen!
This week I attended the City of Lake Charles Zoning Meeting with my client who is currently under contract to develop 60 Acres in Southeast Lake Charles. The slated Residential Subdivision is called Beau Blanc Estates and when finished will include 236 new houses.
It was exciting to see and hear the Zoning Commissioners ask questions about the project and even more so when the development project passed!
Attending a Zoning Meeting is an educational event. Usually the developer or representative for the proposed project will highlight and speak about the project. While waiting for our new Lake Charles residential development on the Agenda, I heard two other new Lake Charles housing projects proposed. Both were for multi-unit projects, one being townhomes and the other was 33 (1,2, 3 bedroom)new duplexes that will be an upscale gated community in South Lake Charles!
There is alot of growth all the way on the horizon for Southwest Louisiana and the Lake Charles LA housing market is on the rebound with growth!
Whether you are a builder, developer, seller or buyer, I would welcome the opportunity to work with you and service our real estate needs!
