Friday's Fotos: Wine Bottle Chandelier
How often do you see a giant chandelier made out of blue wine bottles?
We decided to take a much needed day off on Labor Day, so we went up to one of the mountain towns to have some play time. This chandelier was hanging over one of the bars in the Saragtoga casino.
Geez, I wouldn't want to to be responsible for cleaning that fixture!

Scott~ The silly thing is that it's somewhat hidden. If you didn't know to look for it, you might never notice it!

Jean~ Even on a smaller scale, it would be cool. I want to have a bar and possibly a wine cellar when we finish our basement. Maybe I'll have my own wine bottle chandelier.
Kathleen~ We really do need to recharge our batteries, but I have to be honest, when I came back to work the next day, I still felt overwhelmed. I just need a day without appointments were I could spend some time at my desk and get organized and get some things checked off my to-do list!

That's a cool Chandelier. I just don't think I would want to be standing under it during an earthquake. Or is that just my California fear?

Nice but I wonder how long it too the person to drink all that wine? Bet they were a happy lot. :)
Donna, so glad you got some downtime, and what a chandelier! You are right, cleaning would be a trick, but sure hope it doesn't come down either. It would make quite the mess!

How clever for a bar..lovely to look at and makes you want a sip of wine. I have seen this at the ACC craft show but not anything of this size.
Margaret~ I've seen many interesting things made from wine bottles. There's someone at our Farmers Market in town that makes bird feeders!
Hi Donna, I love it-I'm hoping they ordered the empty bottles though, and didn't have drink them all!
