Bristol, Indiana, a nice place you might think of living.
Bristol is located just east of Elkhart and 3 miles south of the Michigan/Indiana state line. It has RV related companies located around the area. If you like one or 2 story homes in town or Ranch, Quad or Tri-levels outside of town or in a subdivision, they are all here. For current Home Values, search this website by Neighborhood name. In fact, there are approximately 40 Subdivisions and there is also new home construction in Bristol! They also have their own public Golf Course.
One of the subdivisions is directly across from the entrance to the golf course if you prefer to walk.
The Golf course is open to the public and is at the edge of town, which is within one mile from the center of Bristol.
One of the main attractions is the Bristol Opera House, which was built in 1897 and brings in audiences from all over to see their stage plays.
You can rent a kayak in town and paddle down the St. Joseph River or take the kids to the park across the street.
Whatever you decide to do in town, you can walk there. If you want the bigger city life, Goshen, Elkhart, Mishawaka and South Bend are all within an hour, and less by interstate 80-90.
Bristol, Indiana has the feel of country living without being out in the wilderness.
