Sun Fiesta is one of the most popular annual events in Venice FL. Two sponsors are giving out a $1,000 scholarship to the winners of each category. Come and get it, if you are a young adult.
How? Follow instructions and submit application according to the category.
Category I = Miss Sun Fiesta Pageant
When: October 19, 2013
Where: Centennial Park, Venice downtown, FL 34285
Award: $1,000 for the winner’s scholarship
Requirements: 1. Women ages 16 – 18
2. G.P.A. must be 3.5 or above
3. Minimum 75 hours of community service
4. One page essay about yourself and your goals for the future
5. Quality photo of yourself

Category II = Sun Fiesta Idol’s Contest
When: October 20, 2013
Time: 2:00pm
Where: Centennial Park, Venice downtown, FL 34285
Award: $1,000 for the winner’s scholarship
Requirements: Men & Women ages 17 – 21
Entry deadline: October 1, 2013

Category III = 2013 Sun Fiesta “Bed Races”
When: October 19, 2013
Time: 8:00am check in, 9:00am race
Who: anyone and everyone

Fee to enter contest: $50 per team
Prizes: Trophies and Gift Certificate
Rules: Each team to provide their own bed. One rider, two relief pushers per team and four pushers per team.
