Beverly Hills Cops: The movie 1,2,...and now #4?

Good morning, Endre. I don't think I have seen ANY of them, so you have me beat! :)

I love love love Art Deco architecture.  Beautiful building.  The movie?  OK.

Endre-It's usually pretty tough to follow a blockbuster hit. Kind of like Eli Manning compared to Peyton, although they're both more accomplished in football than Archie. But that's just my opinion.

Endre, That's a LONG gap between episodes of a movie!  There are probably longer breaks out there in a series, but not too many.

Me too, I love Art Deco architecture. I'm a fan of Eddie and remember him way back on Saturday Night Live. I really liked Beverly Hills Cop #1, not so much #2, and I haven't seen #3 yet, but you have me curious now with Bruckheimer as producer. I really like 48 hours too, especially the 1st one. 

Endre, I am an Eddie Murphy fan and will be excited to see this movie.  He tried to pick up a friend of mine at a bar in New York City in the 80's.

I was very excited when the 4th Indiana Jones was made and Die Hard seems to just keep going so why not Beverly Hills Cop :)

Beverly Hills Cop with Eddie Murphy is a classic; sequels rarely live up to the magic of first films, but curiosity may lure me to see this one... thanks for the post.

Totally agree #1 was great #2 not as impressed and didnt see 3 either

the first one was funny, when Eddie was on top of his game.  And loved the photo of that iconic building.  best -- Eric

All I can say is "why not" these days? Some of the latest remakes aren't that bad and I'm sure Eddie will be a little more cautious with his spending with what he brings in here.  It's been awhile since I've seen one of his movies - especially one where he's not dressed up as multiple characters

As with all things, the first is usually the best! Just my opinion...............

Guess I will wait till Red Box. Got tired of $30.00 to go to the movies. Think I saw #1 but missed the rest. May miss this one also.

Endre:  I slightly remember the Eddie Murphy one, it's the only one I remember, but I am up for a laugh so will see this one when it comes out!

Beverly Hills Cops - One of my favs.  - bring it on !

I liked Beverly Hills Cop and just having moved from Ohio to Michigan that year was great to see the movie and the familiar spots in Detroit.  The First Movie is always the best, then they get a bit slow after a while, but it will be interesting to see - 30 Years later!

Endre - I don't think I've seen 2 or 3, but I saw the first one decades ago.

I missed #3 too so I will have to look for it. You are right as Jerry Bruckheimer produces great movies and I am sure #4 will be funny too. Thanks for sharing.
