Short sales seemed to be fading away as the market was improving, but I think there are still plenty more that will be appearing in the near future. Why would 5+ major lenders rent space at Fed Ex Field to discuss new changes in short sale procedures? I think it's because they know there is still a long way to go for recovery in the distressed property market.
When workshops are this close (maybe 2+ hours from Lovettsville VA), I prefer to attend in person. Many tips and topics are discussed in person that aren't discussed on webinars.
