Inspection will be scheduled within 2 weeks and Report sent within 30 days of Inspection

 What the Inspection Report gives Homeowners:

·        Improvement Plans

·        Cost Estimates to make improvements

·        Projected Insurance Savings

·        Hurricane-resistance rating scale

Homeowners may give the report to their insurance company.

Of the 141,849 inspections performed to date, 105,000 homeowners (74%) were eligible for Insurance Savings prior to making any recommended improvements.

$5,000 Dollar for Dollard Grants Available for Florida Homes who have had the FREE Wind Inspection

Who is eligible to apply for the up to $5,000.00 Grant:

·        Single-family, Site-built homes that have been inspected

·        Homestead exemption on the property

·        Located in wind-borne debris region

·        Permit application to build home issued before 3/1/2002

(Grant money is part of the Florida Budget, if not re-appropriated in the next legislative session….the funds will likely be used up by the beginning of May 2008. If you are interested in applying for Grant money you need to do so immediately)

 
When you have your Free Wind Inspection performed, the report will have the information on applying for the $5000 Grant.
