Need Kansas City Home Buying Information?
Doug & Stacey's Real Estate 101 Seminar
If you know someone who is considering buying a house or condo in the Kansas City metropolitan area, and wants to have a step by step overview on the home buying process - there is an answer!
Stacey Johnson-Cosby (me), a 26 year real estate veteran, and Doug Knetzer, licensed for 17 years, lead the conversation every third Thursday in a 1.5 hour Home Buyer Seminar. We cover topics from – “What is a Buyer's Agent – and do I need one?”“Who pays for home inspections and what do they cover? ...and, “How do I negotiate to get the best deal?”
The first seminar in a series is Thursday, October 17, 2013 at the Kansas City Waldo Library at 201 E. 75th St. (east of Oak) starting at 6:00pm. Through the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) and their Communiversity program, attendees should register by calling 816-235-1307, or registering online at: UMKC Communiversity registration. The fee is approximately $10 (UMKC students are free & there are other discounts that may apply). The next seminar is on the UMKC Campus on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at 6:00pm. We'll focus on comparing renting vs. owning as well as special loan assistance programs for buyers.
