Over the years I've had many people ask me, "What are the best neighborhoods in Port St Lucie FL?"  Having lived in this area since 2006 I've learned a lot about the Treasure Coast area of FL and can advise anyone who is looking to move here that this is a wonderful place to live.

You have a variety of things to do here including boating, fishing, surfing, music, restuarants, shopping, art and many other outdoor activities.  So, now to tell you where I think the best neighborhoods in Port St Lucie, FL are, here are my recommendations and click on the link of each one to see current homes for sale in those areas.

1. Tradition - This newly developed area is considered one of the top 100 places to live in the US.  It has a variety of different homes including single family, townhomes, villas and condos.  It continues to grow and in December 2013 a hospital will be opening in the area.  There are restuarants, shops, schools and a grocery store all within walking distance from your front door as well as a common area where many events are held called Tradition Square.

2. St Lucie West and Torino - St Lucie West is a mixed-use development and was the fastest growing community in 2003.  Located close to I-95, this area has shopping, restuarants, movie theater, bowling, hotels and the Mets Stadium.  There are many different communites located within St Lucie West and each one has its own special qualities.  Torino is just north of St Lucie West and is strictly residential.  Many of the homes have a beautiful view of Florida marsh land and the natural, native Florida beauty.

3. Southbend -  This area is one of the older areas of Port St Lucie, yet it has kept its beauty and character over the years thanks to the appreciative homeowners.  Located on the East side of the Turnpike and on the southern side of Port St Lucie, you have easy access to Martin county (our sister county of the Treasure Coast).  There is a beautiful park, firehouse, and easy access to I-95 and the Turnpike.

4. Sandpiper Bay - Located on the southeast side of Port St Lucie, this area includes Club Med Sandpiper Bay and Ballantrae, two highly sought after areas to call home.  Yet another older area of Port St Lucie, the homeowners have taken great pride in upkeeping their community and can still call it one of the best neighborhoods in Port St Lucie, FL to live.
