Elizabethan Desserts in Encinitas California is in a New Location
Have no fear...Elizabethan Desserts is alive and very well, and in a new location in Encinitas.
The new digs have been in the works for some months, and I had a chance to visit Elizabeth today (who I know) and indulge myself just a wee bit.
My favorites are still around – the chocolate chip toffee cookies are to die for, but then so too are the red velvet cupcakes, s’mores, Mexican brownies, lemon bars…the list goes on an on. As a dedicated dessert fancier I feel it’s my obligation to try these things before I recommend them. I can safely say I have had ALMOST everything Elizabethan Desserts offers, and give it my hearty gustatory 2-thumbs (and taste buds) up!
I haven’t met a dessert there I didn’t love!!
Let me reassure you the goodies are as delectable as ever, and the new place looks fabulous. More upscale, very charming, additional space with tables and chairs, and great colors that all fit so well together. You know immediately upon entering that Elizabethan Desserts is alive and well, and you feel welcome and ready to dive into a dessert or two.
The former location at Sunshine Gardens is being redrafted and will offer some new sweet and savory pies once completed. Stay tuned for progress.
Elizabethan Desserts is now on El Camino Real in the Shopping Corridor just north of the El Camino Real/Encinitas Boulevard intersection on the west side. It’s a little confusing, and GPS sometimes can’t quite figure it out.
Heading south on El Camino, it’s on the right just BEFORE the new Walgreens and Encinitas Boulevard (same shopping center at Total Woman Gym and Day Spa). Heading south, go past Encinitas Boulevard and take the first LEFT into the shopping center, then immediately go left. It will be on the right. Sorry, only the big retailers in the shopping center get headlines on the signage.
There is signage at the old digs announcing the move, and it's been announced on their website and Facebook for weeks, as well as by staff in the old place. And now this post...so now excuses for not knowing they've moved.
