The Town of Nocatee has been experiencing huge growth since the developments debut in 2007. This year alone the Town of Nocatee is predicted to sell close to 900 homes and has already sold over 600 thus far in 2013. With these astounding numbers, there is no wonder why the community is now ranked as the 6th best-selling community in the United States. Currently only 20% developed, the Town of Nocatee consists of 11 neighborhoods, the first to break ground was Austin Park and the newest addition to Nocatee is the neighborhood Brookwood. Upon completion Nocatee is expected to have over 13,000 homes.

Two of the biggest drawing points for the Town of Nocatee are the unbelievable amenities and beautiful natural setting.  Hands down, Nocatee provides residents with the most phenomenal amenities of any community in North Florida. The community rests along the Intracoastal Waterway and spans over 13,000 acres of some of Florida’s most beautiful landscapes with 60% of the acreage designated as preservation areas, never to be developed. These preservation areas provide residents with access to kayaking, nature trails, bird watching, fishing, peaceful parks, and more.
Splash Water Park Nocatee

In Nocatee’s pursuit to be unsurpassed, developers have recently released plans to expand on the already amazing amenities offered to residents. Current amenities include Splash Water Park, a 5,000 sq. ft. fitness center, tennis courts, nature trails, sports fields, 35 foot high zip line, the Nocatee Town Center, numerous parks, picnic areas, and even dog parks.  Nocatee’s Splash Water Park is a resort style pool complex equipped with everything one would need for a fun filled day in the water, including a lazy river, water slides, children’s splash park, lagoon style pool, and a pizzeria serving a full menu and snacks.  Splash Water Park is also home to Nocatee’s zip line; the 35 foot high zip line suspends riders over the water park and reaches speeds up to 37 miles per hour. Future additions to Nocatee’s amenities are set to begin winter 2013 and feature an expansion to Splash Water Park which will include a family pool, children’s splashground, and additional deck and covered seating space. Other additions include 4 half -court basketball courts, a communal garden with individual plots, a kayak launch, and a junior Olympic pool equipped with bleachers, restrooms, and a score board. With such amazing current and future amenities Nocatee is expected to continue attracting new residents Nocatee Real Estate market will continute booming.

Nocatee Parks

A second huge attraction for home buyers is Nocatee’s promise to keep much of the community acreage as preservation areas. These preservation areas provide residents with easy access to Florida’s wetlands, forests, and wildlife along with giving the community picturesque scenery throughout. Majority of Nocatee homes back either parks or preserves to homeowners excitement. The largest of these preservation areas is the Nocatee Preserve, a 2,400 acre area along the Intracoastal Waterway.  This preserve not only provides a refuge for wildlife, it allows residents to bird watch, hike, bike, kayak, canoe, fish, and more all without leaving the Town of Nocatee.  Combined, Nocatee’s network of parks, trails, and preserves currently make up over 5,000 acres of unspoiled Florida beauty for residents to enjoy.
