Hi Julie,

Beautiful photo! I didn't realize Salt Lake City was so large.

It sounds like the perfect area for jobhunters to move to and with the lovely scenery that surrounds the city and you to help them find the perfect home, how could they ever go wrong?

Julie, I'm not surprised at Salt Lake City being #1 but I am surprised at Wichita Ks being #2.  We are originally from Wichita and go back quite often and hearing my in-laws you would think it was not quite that good.  I clicked on the story but it was George Stephanapolis; should I have kept listening?

Julie, it's great Salt Lake made it on top for the employment growth. We have two in our Texas area so that's encouraging for our state. Atlanta supposedly is strong on the jobs but they do have a lot of houses currently on the market. Don't know enough about what is making Wichita so strong other than maybe the Boeing facilty.

Julie you are fortunate to be in an area with so much job growth! I remember going back about 7 or 8 years ago Massachusetts was experiencing the same thing...it was great for business. We are one of the few States now that there are more people leaving than coming...not so good (:

Gayle: Business is going really good right now and I do certainly hope for the same in your direction. Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend.

Bill: That isn't so good for sure that they are leaving your state. I hope everything turns around for you soon that way. We are very fortunate and business has really picked up. Thank you for all your support and enjoy your weekend.

Margaret: Thank you so much my friend. It is definitely great news and the media surely has been focusing on all the positive recently. We all need that in our country. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Jeff & Grace: Thank you for your support.  We do have some great things going on here and the focus on positivity is really flowing through the Utah air. Enjoy your weekend my friends and many blessings.

Joan:It would be my pleasure to have you all here. I'm thinking we can create an ActiveRain community in Utah. If anything, lets get everybody out here to buy a vacation home, then in a very selfish way, I can have all you wonderful friends close by. Thank you for your support and have a great weekend.

Kat: Oh my gosh! It's so great to see you visit. I have missed you here and have really needed to catch up with you. I can't believe the baby is almost due. Congratulations will be in order very soon. I hope you are doing very well and oh how wonderful it would have been to have you in Utah. Many blessings to you!

I've heard Salt Lake is doing very well. That's wonderful.

Julie, maybe someone already asked, but did you take that photo? It is spectacular of downtown Salt Lake and looking towards Sandy and south?

Julie

I don't think I would go back into the chemistry field, but perhaps they could use an extra Realtor out there.

Julie, that is great news for your area. How does the cost of living compare? Just curious. I need to review such stats for my own area. I agree that Utah is beautiful and you present your love and commitment so well in all of your blogs.

Suzi~Our cost of living is still reasonable. Well, definitely compared to other states.  Check out Forbes.com. They have fantastic reviews that are so helpful in relaying this kind of valuable info to our consumers. Thank you so very much for your kind comment and how encouraging that is to keep writing. Have a wonderful day tomorrow and always.
