The 46th annual Blessing of The Fleet is a Fun filled two-day family event honoring Maryland's Birthplace.
A lot of folks not familiar with Maryland's history or the importance of the seafood industry in Maryland may wonder what the Blessing of the Fleet is. It is a religious celebration of Maryland's Birthplace, the landmark of St. Clement's Island, and a blessing of the boats, or fleet, as October 1 generally begins the oyster harvesting season in Maryland.
There will be plenty of activities for everyone in the family including a Tour the Maryland Dove, Kids Tractor Pull, Live Music, Parades, Fireworks, & MUCH more!
Live music will include The Same Grow Band, No Green Jellybeenz, Justin Myles Experience, and Six Gun South Band.
