Recently, I was in Chicago for a video shoot for a company.  At the end of the interview, they allowed me to make a personal commercial.  I had to quickly think of something to say that didn't sound stupid or scripted.  It took me a couple of minutes, but then I remembered my Mission Statement that I have on my website and my Blog profile, and then it was easy.  I've been using the same statement for almost 7 years now, so I had it down pretty well.

Thanks, Bryant.

And just think, that's me talking "S-L-O-W".  I had to redo it so many times just to talk at that speed, and to see the final version, wow, I must talk really fast in person!

Very good.  So how are you going to use the video?

Marchel, I have added the link to my website on the first page as I'm hoping it will personalize me more with people who are finding me through the search engines.  I have also added it to my AR profile and my blog.

The main thing I'm hoping will make a difference is I've added it to my signature when I send out emails.  I get a lot of leads from the internet and to have the video within the first email to them, I'm hoping to capture more buyers and sellers who want to work with me.  I've got it in my signature as a web address to click on instead of the main format so my emails aren't large files that people will dread receiving.

Any other ideas are welcomed!

Donna:   I like the idea of attching it  to your email my only concern would be how big the file makes your email going out.  Ever once in a while I get a client who has dial up.  Does it upload fairly fast?

Hey Marchel, you must have skipped that part of my response.  I have it as a web address in my signature so it's not an actual file that attaches.  The address is the same that I used in the blog post. Yes, I have clients on dial up as well, and since I was on dial up until 2 years ago, I feel their pain!!

There's more than one way to use a Mission statement.  Congratulations, Donna, on an opportunity well used.
