Fishhawk Lake-Kayaking on Fishhawk Lake
You could be doing this right now if you owned property at Fishhawk Lake! It doesn't even have to be lakefront. My friend, Doug (who bought our old home, through me off-the-lake and he and his wife have become dear friends), has access to take his kayak out on Fishhawk Lake any time of year that he wants to!
The great thing about kayaking, is there is no "season" at Fishhawk Lake. As long as you are warm and dry, you can simply plop your light watercraft into Fishhawk Lake via the two boat ramps, located at either end of the lake or if you have lakefront property at Fishhawk Lake, you can drift it in right off your own shoreline!
Doug's lookin' pretty content here. If there could be such a thing as a Dapper Kayaker, I think he'd win the prize. He was out enjoying life a couple of weekends ago, when my husband and I took a canoe ride through the placid mirrored waters. I was showing my hubby one of my new vacant lot listings at Fishhawk Lake that just happened to have a recent handbuilt teepee on it,
so I was busy taking photos when Doug quietly came by for a quick hello. A great photo op, I must say! (Take note of the pink and blue on either side of the teepee, which signifies to me that it was built by both a girl and a boy). I feel pretty dang lucky that I have to go out on a canoe on Fishhawk Lake to take pictures of a listing!
