wow, this is a great approach. I love it. Very heart warming. Super job. - Debbie
Hi Melissa, you might try asking here on AR for someone that might know someone that could do this in your area.
HI Kathy, thank you for the feature!!
HI Amanda and Jared, I agree that it is an authentic showing of the property and how much you might like to live in a neighbourhood within a city with over 2.65 million people.
Hi Jill thank you for stopping in to see this wonderful marketing video.
Hi Fernando, when you create your first one please post it so we can all see how it turned out.
Hi Women of Westchester! apparently there is an agent in Australia doing the same idea however, I have not seen that video yet.
I have mixed feelings about it because most people want to buy a house, not somebody else's home. However, I have had a client do his own virtual tour and send me the link. He did a great job, so I used it.
Hi Elizabeth, I have had a split of people saying that they would never have a home owner do a voice over. Overwhelmingly the opinion has been that, yes they would for a character home like this one.
It may not be for every type of home but for someone looking to live in a village atmosphere within a big city it seems that most people like this concept.
Hi Kim, thank you for taking the time to watch this video. It is outside the box for our area and it definitely had the desired effect with the buyers. It is so well done, not over the top, just speaking from the heart about a great neighbourhood.
Hi MIchelle, I also liked the video and like how the shops were brought into the video.
Michelle, I actually have had clients who work for NPR or who used to work for CBS news and were on air people. And yeah, I'd ask them to do voice-overs on any of my videos!
Hi Michelle ~ this technique is done in our area quite a bit, and if the sellers are prepped it can be a great marketing tool. I think it really depends on their energy and how well they can articulate the benefits of the home ... and the skill of the videographer is also really important!
Beautiful! Not all sellers could do it, of course, but this couple came across relaxed and natural. I agree that filming the shops and the park was a great idea.
Hi Rebecca. It's such a quaint part of the city, the shops showed really well.
Hi Patricia. It definitely only works with people that are comfortable in front of cameras. The younger they are the better as they are accustomed to being videoed all the time now.
Hi Maureen. I agrre that whoever is speaking needs to be succinct for this idea to work.
Hi Marte. I would imagine that for the most part this was off the cuff with the main details discussed in advance.
Hi Charita, that is what I liked about the couple, they were very sincere in their choice of words.
I've seen similiar videos and find them to be quite appealing. Who better to talk about the advantages of their home than the current owners.
Hi Cindy, I haven't seen a video like this one before so I am glad it turned out as professionally as it did.
This was a great video- I am not sure whether you did the filming and splicing together yourself or did someone do it for you? I thought the sellers really made the video! Great job!
HI Lise, the agent actually produced the video and did a superb job. This couple were the ideal couple to feature in this way. Reminded me of the movie When Harry Met Sally.
Hi Michelle, this video is interesting and it came out well. Personally, I would not have the client do the voice over. We have to be so careful about what words can and can't be used, that the best practice would be for the agent to take care of it.
Hi Sandy, so true in regards to how a property is described. I would think a well rehearsed script would need to be supplied to most home owners to use with suggested phrases to use.
Beautiful video, very well done( editing, light, photography, music, etc)! The homeowners' narrative is wonderful!
I think, it is one of the best house videos I've seen.
