SURPRISE! I received two RAKS of late !!! Lucky, Lucky me!!!!
RAK=Random Act of Kindness. Have you given one before? Have you receive one? They are fun - because they are random!
Sarah Cooper, you know her, I'm sure.... sent me the best kind one could receive - A Handmade Gift ! She has written to tell us about MOO Cards from Flickr. We've been talking a lot lately, and randomly out of the blue.....
She sent me some of her MOO cards and a MOO card holder with a nice handwritten note!!!!
I know, I'm bragging, but I don't care. I was thrilled. Handmade gifts mean a lot to me. I think of the time the person has devoted, the creativity, and the generosity in sharing.
THANK YOU AGAIN, SARAH! IT REALLY MEANS A LOT !
Dale Chumbley gave me my other RAK. I know, I know, you are tired of hearing about Twitter from me; I met Dale through Twitter. Linda & Bob came up with a fun goal and many of the REALTORS(R) on Twitter "play". We have a designation that's been named e-TWIT. You have to reach 100 people following you & 1,000 "twits" (you'll know it when you see it).
Dale was almost at his goal of e-Twit when I began following him and pushed him to 100 ! He joked that he would have to think of a gift for his 100th follower. Of course I didn't let go of a gift very easily - so I joked in return about it for a while. He decided it was an opportunity for a RAK, I suppose. So guess what he did ?
He sent out an autographed book, Some Assembly Required, by Thom Singer .
I recommend the book, it's full of great information about networking. Thom is a talented speaker from what I hear & excellent writer, from what I know :)
THANKS SO MUCH, DALE ! I AM BENEFITING ALREADY FROM THIS BOOK - AND STILL IN THE BEGINNING CHAPTERS!
I'll tell you, I'm one Lucky Woman! Thank you! Share the love - send someone a RAK this week!
(psss Want an easy one? Ever thought of how touching it is to receive a handwritten card? That was icing on my cake with my Moo Card holder! )
