Fremont Villas is a 45 unit townhome complex within the Monterey Hills community in the city of Los Angeles. The complex consists of two and three bedroom multi-level residences in a variety of floor plans. Each Fremont Villas townhome features vaulted ceilings, fireplace, outdoor space(balcony or patio) and attached garage. Most units have either a hillside or city lights view.
There is a pool and spa at Fremont Villas. Budd Weiner Park is just across the street. Monterey Hills is a planned community with complexes of condominiums, townhomes and one single family home residence. The area has been called Los Angeles’ best kept secret although it is such a convenient location, it remains unknown even to long time Angelenos.
There are no townhomes at Fremont Villas on the market for sale as of September 22, 2013. This is also true for many of the complexes in Monterey Hills as the scarcity of inventory of properties for sale has existed in 2013. There was one closed transaction in 2013 according to our local multiple listing service(MLS). This was a three bedroom bank-owned unit with approximately 1578 square feet which was listed for $340,000 and closed for $385,000 in February.
In 2012, there were four Fremont Villas sales according to MLS statistics. The sales ranged from closed prices of $310,000 to $390,000 with an average sales price of $344,725(median $339,450).
