Roger Mucci's mother, Mickey, is celebrating her 94th birthday this Saturday, September 28.
I've never met Mickey....I've never even met Roger in person....but I feel as though they are both part of my family.
Every week Roger and I share our families via our blogs....Roger shares his stories of his weekly visits with Mickey and I share photos of my grandbabies in my Wordless Wednesday posts. It seems only right that my babies should be part of his mother's birthday celebration!
Sharon, what a great way to deliver your birthday wishes for Mickey. I sent my card off on Sunday!
I'm at Mickey's now and we just watched the video. She loved it. She asked which of her great grandchildren were wishing her a happy birthday. I told her four that she hasn't met yet. She was a bit confused but thought it was great fun and so cute.

Suzanne: I thought the kids would think they were wishing Mickey Mouse a happy birthday, but they actually realized it wasn't him and wanted to know who the person was. It was sweet.

This morning I showed Jack a picture of Mickey without saying who it was. I just opened the pic on my laptop and said "do you know who this is?" I was shocked when he said "is that Mickey who is having a birthday?" I could not believe it. Smart little guy!
Valerie: I didn't even notice she was singing until after when we watched the video. I was so preoccupied with Jack and Zack and making sure they delivered the message that I must have tuned her out. She doesn't speak much, so this is the most I've heard from her in one sitting! LOL!
Wow, I am totally impressed that he knew it was Mickey, that is so sweet of him too. Proves those little guys pay attention to what Neena is saying. Check out my other post about Mickey today when you have a minute.....the woman is a hoot!
Sharon- I absolutely adore this video! Do you think they'd make a video for me when I turn 94? That would be a keepsake!

Roger: They are always surprising me. What I don't understand is that I don't think I mention Mickey to them. They know of "Roger", and when we made the video I said Roger's mother is Mickey and she is having a b'day. For him to guess "Mickey" the next day really surprised me.
Kathy: They won't be quite as adorable then, LOL! Maybe their grandchildren could make you a video!

Rebecca: Thank you. It's not easy getting them all in one place and cooperating...usually bribes are necessary, LOL! Not the case here though, they were all willing and I couldn't be happier with the results.
