Community Citizenship RE/MAX Kicks Off 2007 With a Bang Regional Staff Shows Support for Susan G. Komen For The Cure
The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation is marking its 25th annivers ary with a renewed and impassioned mission that incorporates a new name and logo, a $1 billion commitment and a host of initiatives designed to support its promise to end breast cancer forever. The organization's new name is Susan G. Komen for the Cure and will be represented by a new logo featuring a customized version of the ubiquitous pink ribbon.
Susan G. Komen for the Cure kicks off Promise Week on Monday, January 22nd. The week starts with the launch of the brand and celebrates the Promise that Nancy Brinker made to her sister Susan Goodman Komen 25 years ago to help eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease. Komen renews its promise to the community to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for all, and energi zing science to find the cures. Survivors and activists in 125 cities and communities will take part in the week-long breast cancer advocacy movement.
Locally, Komen Central & South Jersey serves 13 counties in New Jersey. On Tuesday, January 23, corporate and communities leaders from across the service area participated in the Guys in Ties Campaign. Prominent leaders wore pink ties to work in an effort to bring awareness to the breast cancer movement. Women readily embraced the color pink in the wardrobe. By wearing a pink tie, the Guys and Ties helped to bring awareness to the new changes at Komen.

Children's Miracle Network
The Children's Miracle Network is unveiling a new media campaign for 2007, and we're sure that no matter where you are you will be touched by its message. The "It Matters" theme will take North America by storm, publicizing all Children's Miracle Netwo rk hospitals and sponsors. The campaign holds the simple but vital message that buying a Miracle Balloon or supporting national sponsors truly does matter to the 17 million children who are sick or injured.
The "It Matters" campaign will appear in a variety of media outlets including television, PSA's, newspaper ads, movie trailers and outdoor billboards throughout the United States and Canada.
