When Do Fall Leaves Peak In New Mexico?

That cowboy looks familiar? Is that you?  If so, you must have enjoyed that ride along a magnificent trail ablaze in fall color. The rain and wind are what can often ruin our show - hoping they don't this year.

That's a great picture!  I love seeing the contrast of green and brown leaves - the transition from summer to fall.  This is one of my favorite times of year as temps drop and leaves fall.

The fall leaves changing colors is one thing I do miss by living here. I really do not think we have much of a change if at all. Enjoy the this fall season and sell some homes but then again you folks could proabbly take the rest of the year off. 

If you folks dress up as Wizard of Oz charcters plaese take pictures and post those as we all want to see them!

Autumn is always so magnificent, even in South and Central CA, we experience changing leaves, but not quite as magnificent as your photo.  A

Our leaves just began turning color in New York. I love the fall, but not the winter.

John, I'm sure New Mexico Fall is beautiful scene for ones eyes. Is that you on the horse riding off in the Fall Foliage? Give my best to Debbie....

I sure hope you post a lot of photos as the leaves turn. I expect Albuquerque in the Fall is magnificent.

John, Our fall peaks about the same time. However it can vary depending on rain and we have had a ton of it this year.

Like in your area, the altitude does affect how soon the leaves change.

 

The trees are starting to turn here, we have a couple of weeks until they peak. Way up north in the mountains of Nh they are showing their full color. Have a great saturday
