It is a New Morning with ActiveRain Changes

The stay in your seat is on and I hear the landing gear hatch opening up, the rush of air as the wheels on the AR platform air stream for a smooth landing. Keep that seat belt on, put your chair table up, slide that chair forward and listen to captain Bob navigating the ship, troops.

There seems to be a format change every day!  Not excited to hear that photos are hard to do, but that will get worked out.

I am with Gita.  Not sure I like the missing spellcheck. But I shall give it time and adjust as needed.

Biggest one for me is no spell check! Ack... now everyone will know just how bad I am at spelling. This is not good, not good at all.

Although I haven't tried to write a post yet all I know is there is NO SPELL CHECK for my comments!

Ginny, Change is always good, just takes time to adjust to.  Love the new share buttons. We have needed them for quite some time. Yeah!

Ginny: My post for today was already in draft so I haven't tried to create a blog using the new format.  The table option may come in handy in a future market reports post.

Good morning Ginny. This change stinks. No points for logging in, no spellcheck and if the font were any smaller it might as well be braille. I hate this.

Hopefully they will fix all the problems, I can't imagine anyone is very happy with some of these changes. Waht am I going to do without SPELL CHECK?

Yes, 2 steps forward and 1 step back. Now, they have to fix all the glitches including lack of spell check and none of have gotten 100 pts for logging in.  I hope they can fix these and the picture formatting that you mentioned quickly.

Stupid, unnecessary changes.  

Yep... Sometimes the saying if it aint broke don't fix it.  Missing the 100 points for log in and really missing the spell check.

I do appreciate the efforts from AR with the enchancements..just looking for the spell check button to return..that is a necessity!!!!

Ginny, looks like many are writing about these changes, and hope they get the spell check back on the tool bar.

Inserting photos was an interesting task- not points yet for logging on- But Im sure that once the dust settles everything will be smooth sailing.  Good to know that a Pinterest button has been added. I've bookmarked this post to follow for additional feedback from our fellow rainers.  

Ginny it will probably be a couple of days before all the bugs are revealed, but I am sure they will be fixed quickly.

As you know the changes are supposed to be for the better. but when we want to upload pictures, there is a number of steps that were not required in the past. Making for a longer post writing time.

No SPELL CHECK REALLY?

There is no Copy and paste. At least I have not found it. They moved the BOLD button. Now if you hit the wrong button it removes the last sentence.

What was exactly wrong with the way it was?

Ginny, this is very frustrating, and AR should have put out instructions to help the members, or at least warn us of these huge changes.    Leaving it open all weekend wasn't a good idea!

Okay... I too am upset with the fact that there is no SPELL CHECK and I CAN'T POST PICTURES! Why did those two things need to change anyway? I believe in change but for the WORST? I am truly hoping that it is just a bug.

Plus I do not like the "facade" looks (for better word) of the comment section. I liked the old one. What was wrong with that one; other than it did not support very many font styles?

Also picture placement has been a pain. My pictures will not line up with centered, left or right requests. Why not fix that instead?
