Feng Shui Designed Vista Building Awakend the "Sleeping Lion" in NY

On September 27th, 2013 The Vista, the first Feng Shui Designed Building in Long Island City awakend the "Sleeping Lion" with the Lion Dance Ceremony.

The Grand Opening of any brand new building when celebrated with Feng Shui in mind and heart symbolizes awaking the "sleeping lion."  The movements of the dance and drumming of the Lion Dance ceremony are very specific in mirroring the movements of Lions that bless the entire property for good luck and protection. This is hard work because the dancer's and drummer must bless the entire building from top to bottom, each level, each room and the outside.

The Ceremony gives thanks to the land and calls in blessings from all four directions (North, East, West and South). Another interesting fact about the Lion Dance movements is that they also derive from Kung Fu Martial Arts movements.
