Crisp as fresh-picked apple bites,
Clear brilliant days and starlit nights,
On gentle wafts of Autumn’s breeze
The dappled shifting hues of leaves
Will dance in shaking, giddy mirth
Until exhausted, tumble down to earth!

Fall is here! This morning, for the first time this year the temperature in the house dropped below 70 degrees.
With October just days away the window for pleasant outdoor activities has been opened and it’s time to get outside and enjoy the season.
Summers can be oppressive here in the South. But our Falls are mild and moderate and quite pleasant. It’s time for football, apple cider, and treks on crunching leaves in the disrobing forests.
It’s my favorite season and I for one am ready to enjoy it!
