Seems ironic the 2nd most arid state in the union also boasts the greatest snow on earth!!
Indeed Utah is known for snow, and therefore skiing. Home to the world famous Park City and Sundance Film Festival - not to mention the 2002 Winter Olympics.
We experience all four seaons, and almost every landscape known to man with the exception of a tropical beach...but most tropical beaches don't boast the mountains, wildlife and lakes and rivers Utah has.
From Arches and Zions national parks, to Moab (don't know Moab?).
Hundreds of lakes and hundreds of miles of rivers. Mountains to climb. Maybe you'd be interested in the annual bison roundup on Antelope Island?
What isn't there to do in Utah would be the better question. With one of the nations lowest unemployment rates, and some of the best scenery and outdoor activities in the world Utah has more draws than one might expect.
Concerned about that one other thing in Utah that always seems to come up? To me (a non-mormon living in Utah) the concern is hilarious ... Just the same I've dedicated another blog to the concern.
