Who dosen't love a good Easter Egg Hunt or visit with the Easter Bunny?

Here are a list of local events that your children may enjoy.

The Friends of Hospice presents the 8th Annual Easter Egg Roll March 15 at St. Ignatius Church, Chapel Point. This event is filled with fun for the whole family and features egg rolls and hunts, a moon bounce, pony rides, photo's with the Easter Bunny, games, face painting, a silent auction, raffle and box lunches. Tickets are $15.00 each for children and adults. All proceeds benefit Hospice of Charles County. A non-profit organization serving the terminally ill in our community.

 

Join us for a hoppin' good time. Enjoy breakfast with the Easter Bunny, a craft project, balloon animals, story time and an "eggcellent" egg hunt. Event will be held rain or shine. Open to age 2-10. Registrations for the egg hunt only will be accepted after the registration deadline. Fees are cash only. The registration deadline is March 8. Bring your grandchild, niece, nephew or neighbor's child to the Easter Egg Hunt and Egg Dying at Calvert Pines Senior Center. Each child will receive a goody bag. Call 410-535-4606 to register

 

Join Zion's Annual Easter Egg Hunt from 12 - 2:30 p.m and participate in our spiritually based activities for the family to enjoy! For more information, call the church at 301-863-5161.

The Prince Frederick Volunteer Rescue Squad Inc. will be hosting its annual Bunny Breakfast. There is no set charge however "Donations are greatly appreciated". Pictures with the Easter Bunny will be available at the cost of $2.00 each. The Rescue Squad is located at 755 Solomons Island Rd. Guaranteed fun for all ages! Egg hunts, games, crafts and entertainment. Hunts will begin at 1:30 pm for ages 3-5; 2:00 pm for ages 6-8; 2:30 pm for ages 9-12. Don't forget the camera - you never know when and where the Easter Bunny will show up! 410-535-1600, ext. 2225.

 

Kids age 1-11 are invited to join us for games, activities, and even a flashlight Easter egg hunt! Prizes awarded to those who find the most Easter eggs, and the prize egg. Prizes also awarded for the jelly bean count and coloring contests. Even get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny! All participants must be accompanied by an adult and must bring their own flashlight and Easter basket or bucket. Registration deadline is March 10. Cost is $6 (non-resident: $8). Bring your swimsuit and goggles to help the Easter Bunny collect his eggs - IN THE POOL! There will be an underwater egg hunt, fun activities and games, and a visit from the Easter Bunny. Prizes for different games and activities. Open to All Ages. Cost is $4 for age 3-12; and $5 for age 13 and older. FREE Admission with donation of swimsuit attire that is in very good condition. The popular Fossil Egg Hunt returns to the Calvert Marine Museum on Saturday, March 22 at 10:00 a.m. for children age 3-10. We'll hide our fossil eggs throughout the museum (separate areas for different age groups). Please bring a basket to gather your eggs. Prize will be awarded to participants.

 

The Easter Bunny will start the annual parade at 17th Street and the boardwalk. Hop on down to Bayfront Park where games and treats await the children. 301-855-8398 or 410-257-2230
