How's this for a marketing idea?

Where I live, there are four neighborhoods that adjoin one street, and three of those neighborhoods branch off at one intersection.  (I own property in two of those neighborhoods.)

Don't laugh, but I made signs that read "TOURS GIVEN HERE" and "REAL ESTATE INFORMATION," and I put those signs on my golf cart, and I park my golf cart near the intersection on weekends.  I sit on my golf cart and wave at the passers-by (and at my neighbors who know me).

I have the property information on every listing in every one of those four neighborhoods - hundreds of homes and residential subdivision lots for sale!  I have this information in a binder at my disposal, as well as Agency forms, contracts for sale, sign in sheets, flyers, business cards and whatever else I can think of.

There are plenty of people riding by just "rubbernecking."   So what the heck, why not try something new and make myself available!

Your comments are appreciated.

Great Idea. I also have a notebook on the complete history of several subdivisions. The information is very helpful and make you the expert.
Good Luck!

That is a great idea as long as the association is cool with it!

Love this idea! I've wanted to do a visual tour of our town for a long time now. Have just never taken the time to do so!
