Anacortes has a wide range of eateries for every palate!

For a town of just over 16,000 folks we are fortunate to have almost a trip around the world when it comes to local restaurants. Here are some great selections, from Pubs to Indian Food.

RockFish Grill and Brewery

320 Commercial Ave

Rockfish is a popular hangout for all those beer and food lovers. They brew a range of their own beers, the latest is their Oktoberfest Beer. They also brew a Christmas beer for those cold wintry days and nights.

Their Restaurant serves a wide range of yummy foods such as:

Wood fired pizza
Best fish and chips, Crab cakes, Fish tacos (my favorite)
and the popular Brewers Burger

Island Cafe

Located at 701 Commercial Ave

This Is the place to go for a great breakfast, lunch or dinner. It is the quintessential local cafe, kid friendly with the atmosphere to go with it.

We like the breakfast choices you can order ALL DAY:

Avocado Scramble
Country Breakfast omelette
Eggs Benedict
French Toast to die for.

There is also a special menu for kids. Take a look at their Island cafe menu and make this eatery a must on your next trip downtown.

Greek Islands Restaurant

Located at: 2001 Commercial Avenue.

Here you will find the best traditional Greek food. Some of my menu favorites are:

SPANAKOPITA (Spinach Pie
LAMB SOUVLAKI
BAKLAVA, who can resist this tasty treat

There are many more delicious items to choose from so make this one of your culinary stops when in downtown Anacortes.

The Brown Lantern Ale House

Located at:412 Commercial

The "Brown" has been awarded "Best Burger" for the last 15 years in Anacortes.

Locals haunt the "Brown" to watch sports, attend enjoy Happy Hour deals, join in their fun events AND MUCH MORE..

My favorite burgers are:

The wrangler Burger
Mediterannean Lamb Burger
CBGB -Chicken, bacon cheese burger.

So if you are in town take the time to visit our popular Pub!

Sher-E-Punjab (The Lion of Punjab) Indian Restaurant (out of Business)

Located at:2120 Commercial Ave

If you like Indian food you will love this restaurant. Family owned, the atmosphere is comfortable and friendly.

The thing I like the best is you can choose your dish and then pick the heat (spicey) level you can tolerate. Great Idea!

My favorites are:

All their varieties of Naan (I could eat their bread all day long)
Saffron Lamb medallions-yes I like lamb
Their vegetarian selections
Chicken Samosas. Yum!

I could go on but you get the idea.
