Deer On The Runway At Cameron Park Airport – Photo
So I’m driving down Alhambra Drive along the Cameron Park Airport and I look to my left and see a deer on the runway. I’ve never seen that before; the airport doesn’t get a lot of traffic so it probably won’t be a problem.
As I look up the runway a small plane is coming down the runway as it lands.
I guess the deer has been around this for a while, and managed to get out of the way in plenty of time.
Tom, Adaptation! Wildlife finds their way to food and manages around cars and planes. Truly amazing to me.

Not a good thing when a plane is coming in. This is where they go when you run them out of your yard. LOL

This may happen on a regular basis, and I've never seen it before. I've never heard of any accidents or losses, so I guess things are okay.
