The Two Rivers REIA offers presentations on a variety of topics of interest to RE investors.  This coming Wednesday, March 19th, we'll be meeting for networking, education, and mentoring and we'll be offering a timely presentation from Ken Tharp, of Iowa Equity Exchange.

We have been focusing on issues facing Flippers (the quick rehab variety) and we've recently started a contest for developing a "scope of work" (SOW) proposal on a flip candidate property.  It's like going to a workshop, where we have six teams formed and each team's goal is to come up with a plan to rehab a property as though we were going to be applying for a loan (with nothing down) to a private money lender.  But we won't be working on this for Wednesday's meeting.    Instead, we'll be primarily listening to Ken tell us how to save tax dollars with the transfer of RE investment properties.
