Cantata is a small neighborhood of one and two story detached homes within walking distance of the Batiquitos Lagoon and wildlife preserve, and just a short distance from the Aviara Golf Course and Argyle Restaurant. Just 3 streets (2 of them are cul-de-sacs) comprise this neighborhood on the gently rolling Aviara hills north of the lagoon – Black Swan, Cressa and Branta. There are 82 Carlsbad homes in the Cantata neighborhood, which is located on the 2nd fairway of the Aviara golf course; some homes offer views of the golf course and of the nearby Batiquitos Lagoon. Homes range in size from 2425 SF up to 3216 SF, with 3 to 5 bedrooms and 2.5 to 4 baths, depending on the floor plan.
