In the spirit of spookiness,  I’ve pulled together some of the most awesome and scary Halloween yard displays I’ve come across on the ‘net. Hopefully they will be of some inspiration to you here in Montgomery County as Halloween 2013 fast approaches. Aliens and spiders and ghosts, oh my!

Area 51 in this front yard? The attention to detail here is amazing; the little alien dude is almost believable!

A ghostly meeting. At night the faint glow of the fire creates an eerie effect as the plastic ghosts appear to hover in a circle.

Talk about curb appeal - or repel. Look closely and you’ll see this is no abandoned home, but the owners certainly got it right with all the details.

Yeah it’s a little weird that the trees have eyes, but they’re googly eyes, which makes this large mutant tree not feel so threatening.

Giant spiders have overtaken this home. I’m getting the creeps just looking at it!

There are no signs, but something about this spooky entrance way screams keep out! The right lighting is not just good for home staging anymore.

Warn tiny trick or treaters about the dangers that lie beyond with these brightly colored warning signs. Spiders on the door add a nice creepy touch.

With a little creativity you’ll be the talk of the neighborhood on Halloween night. Make it scary enough and you might be able to keep all that candy for yourself!
