Hello Everyone,

Are Spokane Realtors ahead or behind of technology? It seems that other cities certainly have faster markets than the Spokane Real Estate Market. Some markets have homes moving in a week and I can only imagine the level of competition. Probably a dog eat dog world. But that also makes things move faster.

Spokane Realtors Technology leads the way as Realtors seek to find the next thing and set themselves apart. So with Spokane Real Estate being slower, how is this being seen in the Realtors. It seems some people are way ahead on the technology side and this means those Spokane Realtors will be learning from Real Estate agents in other cities and bringing that technology to work for them in a much less competitive market.

I know in our business we have made a big shift to technology and it shows in the way we do business. I think the public is going there also and if you aren't moving eith them you will be left behind.

I don't think your city is alone in the learning curve. But consumers are adopting technology everywhere, so technological learning curves will need to be overcome.

I think you can see the difference just in the amount of people signed up for activerain.com. It is a valuable resource for the experienced and novice real estate professional! I definitely recommend this site when opportunity arises. Good post Rick.

As one who lives in Spokane I believe that the entire city is behind. Don't get me wrong, I love Spokane but in my 10 years of living here I have noticed that the ambition level is much lower here then in most places. That is part of what makes Spokane special. You have to take the good with the bad.

Yeah setting yourself apart from the corwd is key in an ever noisy market.

I think the masses are behind the curve and real estate is changing fast so you have to keep up.

I think people are much further behind than people think. Many people are suing some technology but not very well or they may not understand it. If you can invest in technology now it will pay off over time because things are only going to keep changing.
