Garden hoses can rupture if....

Garden hoses can rupture if any trapped water inside freezes and expands during winter. First, make sure that you detach any hoses from your outdoor faucets if freezing weather is expected. Second, coil hoses free of kinks and avoid storing them on a nail in the garage, as the soft rubber material may tear.

Lisa,

Thanks for the reminder. Winter is coming and we need to take care of all our winterizing soon or we will have multiple disasters to fix come Spring.

Winterizing is always a big chore in those northern states.  So many extra things you have to do to be prepared.

Lisa, even here in Sunny Southern California, we get the big freeze in the winter months, and our hoses need to be cared for, as well.  Great reminder.
